Chicago Convention and Tourism Board Welcomes Satellite Communication Systems

Chicago, IL - Satellite Communication Systems (SCS) and its sister company, Absolute Conference, are proud to announce their new role as a member of the Chicago Convention and Tourism Board (CCBT). On June 22, 2010 Satellite Communication Systems and Absolute Conference joined with other member companies and potential clients at a lunchtime Expo held at McCormick Place in Chicago. Attendees met to discuss opportunities to work together explore the various services and venues available Chicago.
 
Dori Schmitz, Director of Sales & Marketing for SCS and Absolute Conference said: “We are committed to meeting the live video communication needs of corporations and meeting planners. The pairing with CCBT is natural and a great way to reach organizations which have chosen Chicago as their meeting or convention location.”
 
In particular, SCS and Absolute Conference reps noted an interest in Satellite Media Tours (SMTs), webinars, and video conferencing. Attendees cited more requests for these services over the past months as organizations are looking for ways to reduce costs without sacrificing the message.
